Troubleshooting: Common Sync & Auth Issues
Practical steps to resolve common problems: failed syncs, missing GSC properties, and authentication errors.
Problem: No rank data after adding keywords
First, check that keyword tracking is enabled for the brand and that the scheduled snapshot has run. If you're still missing data:
- Open the Brand > Keywords page and confirm keywords are active (not paused).
- Manually trigger a snapshot in the Snapshots page to force a collect.
- Review worker logs for any rate-limit or provider errors.
Problem: GSC property not found
Common causes and fixes:
- The Google account you used doesn't have access — sign in with an account that has Owner or Full permissions in GSC.
- The property uses a different URL variant; add/verify the exact www/non‑www or https/http property in Search Console.
Problem: OAuth or token refresh errors
If OAuth tokens fail to refresh, have the user re-authenticate from Account > Integrations. Check server time and timezone settings — large clock skew can break token exchange.
When to contact support
If you see persistent failures after checking the steps above, collect the following and open a support ticket:
- A screenshot of the error plus the URL where it occurred.
- Approximate timestamps (ISO 8601) of the failure and the user performing the action.
- Relevant brand and domain names (so we can look up logs).
