Creating Your Account: Step‑by‑Step

1 — Sign up

Go to the app sign-up page and enter your email address and a strong password. We recommend using a password manager. After submitting, check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link to activate your account.

2 — First-time setup wizard

Once verified, you'll be taken through a short setup wizard where you'll:

  • Add the first brand(s) you want to track (brand name, domain, and location/market).
  • Choose default reporting timezone and currency.
  • Optionally connect Google Search Console (recommended) and Google Analytics for richer data.

3 — Add your first brand

Click New Brand, then enter the public brand name and primary domain (for example, example.com). You can add multiple domains or subdomains later under the brand settings.

Tips

  • If you track multiple countries or languages, create separate brand entries per market to keep ranking data clean.
  • Use canonical domains (without trailing slashes) when adding a brand's domain.

4 — Users & permissions

Invite teammates from the Brand > Team page. Roles:

  • Admin — full access, billing, and integrations.
  • Editor — manage brands and reports.
  • Viewer — view-only access to dashboards and exports.

5 — Next steps

  1. Connect Google Search Console (see Connecting Google Search Console).
  2. Add a few target keywords in the Brand settings to start seeing rank data.
  3. Open the Reports page and schedule an initial weekly snapshot.
